DraftKings to partner with Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City
Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, you’re definitely familiar with DraftKings. They’re arguably the world leader in fantasy sports. If you’re wondering why we’re talking about them considering we offer a unique fantasy sports product of our own (hello FastPick), it’s because a new relationship between Resorts Casino Hotel and DraftKings was just announced.
Last week, DraftKings announced that they’re partnering with Resorts in Atlantic City to offer online sports betting in New Jersey.
The Supreme Court of the United States recently struck down PASPA, paving the way for states to offer sports betting to their residents.
At present time, DraftKings only offers fantasy sports. They do not yet have a sports betting platform. And while details are scarce, one is likely in the works.
Nothing official has been announced, other than DraftKings will be utilizing an online gaming license to offer sports betting in New Jersey. We’ll keep you updated with any news as it develops.
