Geolocation FAQs

Why do I need the geolocation plugin?
ResortsCasino.com lets you play from anywhere in New Jersey, but you need to be within state lines to play. It's the law. The geolocation plugin does a quick check to make sure you're in New Jersey when you play.

Where do I get the plugin from?
When you load a real money game for the first time, the geolocation plug-in will begin to download.  You'll need to have pop-ups enabled.

I've enable pop-ups, but the geolocation plugin didn't install. What's going on?
Don't worry. Just copy and paste this link into your web browser: CLICK HERE. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to set up geolocation.

I've downloaded the plugin, but it's asking me to download it again. Why?
It's possible the plug-in didn't finish installing, an error during installation, or you might be using an unsupported browser.  We recommend Google Chrome. If you're still having trouble, make sure your security software isn't blocking you from installing browser plugins.

I'm using Google Chrome and I've installed the plugin but it's still not working.
Make sure the plugin is enabled for use. If you're using Google Chrome, type chrome:\\plugins into your address bar, and then make sure the Always Allow box next to the GeoComply plugin is checked.

I don't see the plugins listed in the Google Chrome plugin settings.
It's possible that you downloaded the plugin but didn't yet install it. If you're using Google Chrome, click the little wrench symbol at the top right of the window. Then, click Download to see a list of everything you've downloaded. Just double-click the geolocation plugin file to start the install.
