Geolocation

We want you to have a great time whenever you play at our online casino in New Jersey  – and we want to help you get online quickly. Under New Jersey law, you need to be within state lines to enjoy everything we have to offer. We use something called geolocation technology to make sure you're physically present in New Jersey. On your PC or Mac, it's a simple browser plugin that's really easy to install, and you only need to set it up once. On your mobile device, you're good to go from the start, as long as Location Services are turned on.

Having trouble with geolocation? We're here to get you set up. Please check out our FAQs below and watch our quick geolocation video. If you still need help, we're standing by to walk you through the process.

Geolocation FAQs

Why do I need the geolocation plugin?

ResortsCasino.com lets you play from anywhere in New Jersey, but you need to be within state lines to play. It's the law. The geolocation plugin does a quick check to make sure you're in New Jersey when you play.

Where do I get the plugin from?

When you load a game that's not in demo mode for the first time, the geolocation plugin will start to download. Just make sure pop-ups are enabled so we can install the plugin. If you need help enabling pop-ups or want info on supported browsers, see our How to enable pop-ups section.

I've enable pop-ups, but the geolocation plugin didn't install. What's going on?

Don't worry. Just copy and paste this link into your web browser: CLICK HERE. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to set up geolocation.

I've downloaded the plugin, but it's asking me to download it again. Why?

There's a good chance the plugin didn't install correctly, or you might be using a browser that we don't support. We recommend Google Chrome. If you're still having trouble, make sure your security software isn't blocking you from installing browser plugins.

I'm using Google Chrome and I've installed the plugin but it's still not working.

Make sure the plugin is enabled for use. If you're using Google Chrome, type chrome:\\plugins into your address bar, and then make sure the Always Allow box next to the GeoComply plugin is checked.

I don't see the plugins listed in the Google Chrome plugin settings.

It's possible that you downloaded the plugin but didn't yet install it. If you're using Google Chrome, click the little wrench symbol at the top right of the window. Then, click Download to see a list of everything you've downloaded. Just double-click the geolocation plugin file to start the install.
